What is XWX AI Chat Exporter? A Chrome browser extension that exports AI chat conversations to PDF, Markdown, Word, Notion, and more. It works with 13+ AI platforms.

Is it free? Yes! All 7 export formats (PDF, Markdown, Word, Text, JSON, Notion, Clipboard) are 100% free with no limitations. Pro features include: Remove Watermark, Super One-Click (skip success modal), and AI Tags & Summaries (auto-generated metadata).

Do I need an account? No. No sign-up required. Install the extension and start exporting.

Which browsers are supported? Any Chromium-based browser: Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Vivaldi, Opera. Safari and Firefox are not supported.

Is my data safe? Yes. All export processing happens locally in your browser. Your conversations are never sent to our servers.

What about the AI Tags feature? When you enable AI Tags, your conversation is sent directly from your browser to the AI provider you chose (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic). We never see or store your data or API key.

Does the extension track me? No. We don't collect analytics on your conversations, exports, or browsing behavior.

Where is my API key stored? In your browser's local storage only. It is never transmitted to our servers.

Which AI platforms are supported? ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, DeepSeek, Grok, Mistral, Kimi, GLM (ChatGLM), Qwen (Tongyi), Doubao (Doubao), Poe, and more.

Does it work with API-based platforms? No. The extension works with web-based chat interfaces only. API-only platforms are not supported.

What if my platform isn't supported? Request it via the support email. We add new platforms regularly based on user demand.

What formats are supported? PDF, Markdown, Word (.docx), Notion sync, Clipboard, TXT, and JSON — 7 formats total.

Can I export only part of a conversation? Yes. Use Smart Selection to pick specific messages and export only those.

Are images included in exports? Yes, for PDF, Markdown, Word, and Notion. Images are downloaded locally and embedded or linked.

Can I export code blocks with highlighting? Yes. Code blocks are syntax-highlighted in PDF, Markdown, Word, and other formats. 50+ languages supported.

Does it export math formulas? Yes. LaTeX math formulas are rendered in PDF and preserved as $...$ blocks in Markdown.

What's included in Pro?

Can I try Pro before paying? A free trial is available. Check the pricing page for details.

The export button doesn't appear. Make sure you're on a supported AI chat page. Try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, disable and re-enable the extension.

The PDF is empty or corrupted. Very long conversations may take time to process. Wait for the progress bar to complete. If it fails, try exporting in smaller sections using Smart Selection.

Images are missing in the export. Some AI platforms load images lazily. Scroll through the entire conversation before exporting to ensure all images are loaded.

My API key doesn't work. Verify the key is correct and has sufficient credits. Check that you've selected the right provider. Try regenerating the key at the provider's dashboard.

The extension is slow. Large conversations (100+ messages) take longer to process. Try exporting in sections. Clear the browser cache if performance degrades over time.
